The Friends of Weston Museum host regular talks on topics of local historical interest. The first talk in the newly refurbished museum will focus on the redevelopment project. ‘The New Museum: how we got here’ an illustrated talk by Cllr John Crockford-Hawley. John is a former teacher, keen historian and passionate advocate for the museum, his talks are always wonderfully informative and interesting. John has also been chair of the committee responsible for the refurbishment of the museum since Weston Town Council took it over in 2011.
Talks are free to members of the Friends (details of how to join can be found on the Friends page), a small fee on the door applies to non-members.
