Join us for some scary skeleton and ghostly ghoul themed craft activities this October half term. Family friendly drop in activities will be available in the museum from Monday to Thursday 11-4.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, between 1pm and 3pm each day, we will also be joined by the team from Rainbow Sands, a local crafty mum and daughter duo. Join them to create your own sand art image with a halloween theme. It’s great fun and pretty much any age/ability can produce a brilliant looking picture. It’s a pre-cut pattern so easy to lift off a section of the paper to reveal the sticky surface so no glue needed. Just spoon on the sand, shake off the excess and repeat until your picture is complete.

You can also take part in our Halloween themed trail around the galleries and spot some of our real Iron Age skeletons, including our mascot, Rusty the dog!
