Lego Workshops – Seaside! @ Weston Museum
Jul 28 @ 10:30 – 15:45
Lego Workshops - Seaside! @ Weston Museum | England | United Kingdom

Come along to a family friendly lego workshop. Get inspired by our temporary exhibition focussing on the history of Punch and Judy and create your own seaside themed scene.

Workshops last for one hour at timed slots throughout the day (on both Saturday and Sunday); tickets should be bought in advance, as numbers are limited. You can do this by popping in to our museum reception or by giving us a call (you can pay by card over the phone).
Ticket costs are £3 per child, £5 for 2 children together.

As per lego advice, we are accepting children of age 4 and up (children aged just under 4 can attend too, but only if the parent or carer stays with them to supervise closely. Children under 3 will unfortunately not be able to take part on this occasion). Please be aware that adults will need to stay within earshot/sight of children, but are free to enjoy the café by sitting at one of the tables just next to the Learning Space (enjoy a peaceful cuppa whilst your children enjoy some lego building!).

Available slot times –
10:30 – 11:30
11:45 – 12:45
1:30 – 2:30
2:45 – 3:45

Big Dig!
Sep 8 @ 10:00 – Sep 9 @ 16:00
Big Dig!

Imagine what it is like to be a paleontologist digging for fossils and learn about our ancient past in this special family friendly event. Meet a Tyrannosaurus Rex and have your photo taken dressed as a dinosaur!

Children can dig for finds in our Big Dig pits and match them up to identify the creatures that lived on the earth millions of years ago, before exploring the galleries and marvelling at some amazing real fossil specimens from the local area. On the Saturday, we will also be visited by a scary Tyrannosaurus Rex called ‘Titch’, who will be spending the day in our courtyard. Children can dress up like a dinosaur and have their picture taken with this almost life size dinosaur!

There is no need to book for this event and there is no charge to join in, just drop in throughout the day on the Saturday (10-5) or Sunday (10-4).

For more information, just contact the museum team.
