Open from 6 December 2025 to 14 March 2026\, Stories of Home: Portraits of our Community brings together a compelling series of self-portraits and personal reflections that illuminate what it means to call Weston-super-Mare ‘home’.\n\nAhead of the exhibition\, members of the community were invited to take part in photography and filming sessions. Stepping in front of the camera\, participants were encouraged to look directly into the lens for a photographic self-portrait and to share their thoughts on the idea of ‘home’\, and what Weston means to them.\n\nThe project captured 120 self-portraits\, each offering a candid glimpse into the people and everyday stories that shape the town. Participants were also given the opportunity to record short audio reflections\, some of which will feature in a film for the exhibition.\n\nVisitors to the exhibition will also be able to contribute their own stories at open sessions taking place at Weston Museum on Saturday 10 January\, Saturday 14 February\, and Thursday 5 March 2026.
