Hear some wartime recollections of local characters, collected by oral history recording. There will also be a short illustrated talk on the second world war and how it impacted Weston-super-Mare, looking at Weston airfield, HMS Birnbeck and the Blitz.
Chris Fisher is a long standing volunteer at Weston Museum and has collected many oral histories over the years, capturing the memories of local people. Jane Hill is the museum’s Heritage & Community Officer.
