Home Educators

We understand that families choose to home educate their children for a whole variety of reasons and we always aim to do the best that we can to support a mixture of needs and learning styles.

The team at Weston Museum love working with our local community of home educating families and hold fun and engaging sessions and events specifically tailored for them. We like to get to know our nearby home educating families and we’re always happy to receive feedback and suggestions of session content or activities, so do get in touch.

We hold a monthly day of sessions for home educating families, called ‘Amazing Artefacts’, usually on the second Wednesday of the month. These are split into approximately key stage 1 and key stage 2 sessions. There are also occasional extra sessions for mixed age groups or for key stage 3.
